Bird pets

There are lots of pets around the world, but many people have a bird as a pet. There are many types of birds such as Canaries, Budgies, Blackbirds, Robins, Mocking birds, Sparrows and others. My pet is a Canary. Its name is Billie. Billie lives in a cage, in the yard. Its colour is yellow. It is a male bird and it sings very sweetly.

Canaries come from warm countries. A canary is a type of finch. Canaries breed in spring. Baby Canaries live with their parents up to twelve days after they are born. The incubation time for Canary eggs is 13 days.
